Alameda Connects brings in the holiday at the Hyatt House

Posted

The sound of bagpipes and the smell of shepherd’s pie took over the Hyatt House in Belmar during the “Blarney on Belmar” event on March 7, hosted by Alameda Connects. The gathering kicked off St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the area as residents gathered to listen to music, watch Irish dancing, drink, eat Shepherd’s pie and Irish nachos and visit with neighbors. St. Patrick’s Day falls on March 17 this year. Alameda Connects is a nonprofit organization that promotes the Alameda Corridor in Lakewood.
