Class of 2019 for Jefferson Jr./Sr. High

Seventy-one graduates of Jefferson Jr./Sr. High School celebrated their accomplishments during the school’s Class of 2019 commencement ceremony on May 17.

Principal Michael James chose a special theme for the graduation ceremony, which was heroes. Upon receiving their diploma, each student took a couple minutes to recognize the heroes in their life.

“Love what you do, and it will never be a job,” said Jefferson Jr./Sr. High teacher Patti Carter during her keynote address. “There will be extremely hard times that will make you think that you can’t make it.”

But you can, she added.

“With every ending,” Carter said, “there is a beginning.”
