I want to commend Michael Alcorn for his continued articles in the Transcript. I always enjoy reading them. He is a logical and a deep thinker and it is worth the time taken to enjoy what he has to say.The writer of the Letter to the Editor on July 25, however, had to bring the “hate Trump” view into our newspaper, attacking Mr. Alcorn, which is a shame. The writer claims that “those on the right in the conservative media are making the aggressive behavior worse.” I think the real truth is that those who are making it worse are the liberal news people who are actually encouraging that behavior with all their lies and hate mongering. In reality, there are very few conservative newspapers or conservative talking heads in this country to combat bad behavior and unfortunately it is getting worse. Watching thugs physically attacking people wearing MAGA hats and throwing buckets of water on policemen has gotten out of hand and hard to watch.Please don’t let these kinds of letters discourage you from writing your weekly column, Mr. Alcorn.
