Lakewood Police is asking the community for help with identifying two suspects after an attempted abduction.

On May 15, two male suspects in a white van pulled up to the Holiday Gardens Apartments at 1301 Pierce St. One suspect was driving while the other one was in the back of the van. As two 11-year-old boys were sitting on the lawn at the apartments, the man in the back opened the van door and tried to grab the boys. One of the boys threw and hit a man with a water bottle and ran away.

The suspects are believed to look like twins, be Hispanic and have dark curly hair. Police believe both men are in their 20's. The white van had scratches on the side, a door that slides open, darker tint on its windows and bars on the inside of its windows on the back of the van, according to police.
