School celebrates diversity through student performances, food and artwork

Emory Elementary in Lakewood made a statement about being proud of its diversity on Feb. 27 as the school celebrated International Night. Students kicked off the night by performing songs and dances for parents, teachers and attendees. After the performances, attendees could walk the school’s hallways that featured booths that had food from different cultures and artwork by students.
