In the spirit of the holidays, first and second grade students delivered handcrafted gingerbread ornaments to houses near Green Mountain Elementary School in Lakewood. The students walked through the neighborhood singing Christmas carols as they eagerly made their way from house to house. Neighbors opened their doors with smiles on their faces when the children handed them their ornaments and wished them a happy holidays.
