Winter Bike To Work Day takes place in Lakewood

Posted

Snow has been falling in the Denver metro area recently, but that didn’t stop some bicycle enthusiasts from strapping on a helmet and cycling to work.

Hosted by Bicycle Colorado, a nonprofit that advocates for the interests of all bicycle riders, four residents met up at Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters in Lakewood before riding to work on Feb. 14. The event was part of Winter Bike To Work Day. The day was hosted in correlation with International Bike To Work Day.
