The “Lakewood: A 20th Century Journey” exhibit is officially open to the public at the Lakewood Heritage Center. The exhibit displays the city's incorporation in 1969 as a way to celebrate Lakewood's 50th anniversary. It features an old jukebox from Maggie's Pool Hall, a 1921 Model T vehicle, World War II posters and more. The exhibit has been years in the working, and residents have helped by telling the museum what is important to Lakewood's history.

The Heritage Center, located at 801 S. Yarrow St., is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. You can contact the museum at 303-987-7850.
