The Lakewood Heritage Center welcomes the Hazel Miller Band to the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Amphitheater Wednesday, July 11. The Hazel Miller Band has brought its combination of blues, jazz, R&B and original tunes to the Colorado music scene for over 30 years and is back for another energized, on-your-feet performance. Franny & The Jets opens with jazz standards and blues.
Led by Hazel Miller’s strong voice, the eight-piece band has toured North America and the world, engaging audiences in one dance and sing-along song after another. The Hazel Miller Band has headlined and opened many times at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater and has performed as a guest of Big Head Todd and the Monsters for 19 years. Hazel Miller’s voice has been called a “force of nature” by the Rocky Mountain News, and she has sung the national anthem for the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football in 2016 and at Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper’s 2015 Inauguration.
In addition to sensational live music, concertgoers can bring a picnic or grab a bite at local food trucks. The Lakewood Beer Garden presented by Foothills Credit Union will feature craft beer brewed right here in Lakewood.
