Ward 4 councilmember David Skilling join Rooney Ranch Elementary leaders for the school’s playground renovation ribbon cutting on Jan. 8.

Students, faculty, local leaders and neighbors gathered at Rooney Ranch Elementary on Jan. 8 for the ribbon cutting of the completion of phase one of a playground renovation project.

Mayor Adam Paul and Ward 4 councilmember David Skilling spoke about the positive effect the new playground will have on the school and neighborhood, then the ribbon was cut, and best of all — the children started playing.
