Join us on Thursday, June 14, 2018 for a presentation by Senior Historian, Lisa Schoch from CDOT on the 50th Anniversary of the first blast to start the construction of the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnels on I-70. Come and hear about all the trials and tribulations involved in constructing the tunnels at the highest point on the Country’s Interstate system sitting at 11,000 feet. Also, learn about the inner workings of the tunnels today. Refreshments will be served at 6:45pm with the presentation beginning at 7:00pm at the Philip S. Miller Library 100 S.
