Posted

The weather was chilly, but Belmar Elementary students bundled up and gathered at Addenbrooke Park to walk to school together on Oct. 10 for Walk to School Day. October is Colorado Pedestrian Month, and the day is meant to encourage children to practice pedestrian safety. Parents, teachers and neighbors participated as well, and Belmar Elementary students were loud, energetic and excited to take a different approach during their morning commute.
