Motorcyclist traveling from Castle Rock to Breckenridge reported missing

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help with locating a missing motorcyclist.

Robert Jacobs, 65, was last seen at 4 p.m. June 8 in Castle Rock, riding his black Harley Davidson Road King, with Colorado license plate 445 UVU, the sheriff's office said in a news release. He was driving to Breckenridge but never arrived, the release stated.

The sheriff's office is asking the public to be on the lookout for Jacobs and the motorcycle.

"If you are traveling between the areas of Castle Rock and Breckenridge please pay close attention to the area and roadways," Sgt. Ron Hanavan said in the release.
